Every Wednesday morning at 9:00am, the Ventura Lakes Social Club has a coffee meeting in the Clubhouse for all residents and guests. Most of the residents come a little early to purchase 50/50 tickets or coffee and donuts and very often there are tables set up to purchase tickets for upcoming events.
The meeting itself begins at 9:00am and provides the residents with useful information regarding the Social Club events, and other pertinent information about things occurring in our community. The 3rd Wednesday of every month includes a business meeting where we present old and new business proposals to the residents. The 4rth Wednesday includes the Manager's Meeting where Dave Anthony and Ted Cox are on hand to update you on the community projects and answer any questions.
We take turns hosting the meetings. The hosts make the coffee and purchase the donuts. We always need volunteers to be coffee hosts which is a very good way to meet your neighbors and make new friends.

Wednesday Bridge
A group of Ventura residents (and guests) play bridge on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM (until about 9:30). This is Intermediate level bridge. It is a "relaxed" group - if you are a beginner and feel you may be ready for regular playing, give it a try!

Monday Bridge
A group of Ventura bridge players meets on Mondays at 1:00 (until about 3:30) to play bridge. (This is not a workshop, but a time to play. Level is Beginner to Intermediate.) If you would like to play or just to obtain more information, phone Linda (637-3756) or Rhoda (505-8734).
Wednesday "Hand and Foot" Card Game
