The 2008 Oktoberfest is history...what a great time !
We definitely dodged the rain, and the 'fest' went on . I hope everyone had fun, and enjoyed the day. The food was certainly good, and the games were played by almost everyone. Of course, the big draw is always the dunk tank, and Diamond Lil (alias Geri Bodnar) sure did give us a good laugh !
We sold 142 tickets, and we brought in a profit of approximately $713.00 for the Social Club. Thanks to everyone who planned; shopped; cooked; set up; cleaned; and participated in any other way I am forgetting. When we all work together in a joint effort, we can accomplish almost anything.
